All people are welcome to attend worship services at St. George’s. We observe the liturgical seasons and traditions of the Anglican Church during our worship services. Every Sunday from the beginning of September until the end of June we offer 2 worship services, which are held at 8:15 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. In July and August we celebrate at a single service at 9 a.m. We also celebrate the Eucharist/Communion on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in our Chapel.
Summer Services
During the summer we celebrate only one Sunday service at 9 a.m. The services vary, some use the Book of Common Prayer (B.C.P.) and others the Book of Alternative Services (B.A.S.) Eucharist. Children are always welcome at St. George’s, but there is no church school or supervised nursery during the summer service.
Special Worship Services
There are many special worship services held at St. Georges, to celebrate seasons in the Church. Watch the calendar for upcoming special services.
Pastoral Visit in Hospital or at Home
If you or a family member would like a visit by a member of the Pastoral Care team either in hospital or at home please call the Church Office at 744-4751. The Privacy Act prevents any of the hospitals from telling us that you are a patient. We would much rather hear several times that you would like a visit than not to know.
Special Sacraments
