At St. George’s we observe the liturgical seasons and traditions of the Anglican Church during our worship services. From the beginning of September to the end of June the worship services are held on Sundays at 8:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. During the summer we hold one Sunday worship service, at 9 a.m.
Sunday 8:15 Service
Want to get your Sunday started early? Join us at 8:15 am for a spiritual lift based on the Book of Common Prayer (B.C.P.) and a great start to your day and week.
Don’t forget to join us for coffee and tea afterwards, and, on the first Sunday of each month, bagels as well.
Sunday 10:00 Service
The 10:00 worship service is a family service with our choir leading the music and the hymns. The Eucharist (Communion) is from the Anglican Book of Alternative Services (B.A.S.). This service is attractive to families with young children because it includes church school for children from Pre-K through elementary school.
Summer at St. George’s
In the summer, our church holds only one service each Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m. Each week we alternate between the Book of Common Prayer (B.C.P.) and the Book of Alternative Services (B.A.S.) Eucharist. There is no church school or supervised nursery during the summer service.
